I love it when clients choose a location for their photos that is meaningful to them! Not only had this couple gotten engaged at this ranch a few months prior to their session, but the land had actually been in her family for nearly 100 years! It was the perfect spot and was full of stunning views of the rugged West Texas landscape. The ranch was located in a small town about two hours from where I live in Lubbock, and since I had never been there before I didn't know exactly what to expect. Because of this, I made sure to allow for plenty of time to explore and hike around to find the best spots for photos, and it ended up being such a fun day spent exploring. The views were hard to beat and we ended the day with the most beautiful sunset. The the perfect end to a West Texas session!
